My New Buddy

OMG, I must be the worst blogger ever. I'm always not in the loop with things going on around me. Anyway, I woke up at 4 in the morning today and suddenly felt like looking for apps in my iphone. I don't know why... and so, while browsing for something interesting, I saw the funnest app ever! Talking Carl! :D yay!

Isn't he adorable? Oh such cuteness abounds :D What does he do you ask? Weeeell, stuff. He repeats what you say and says it in the cutest voice. Kinda like Gir from Invader Zim. Man I miss that show. (Sorry, my train of thought gets sidetracked easily). You can tickle him and he makes this hilarious laugh. You can also poke him and he will say ow or scream at you. But if you ignore him, he will have a fit. I've been playing with this app for hours, and I must say i'm not done yet, haha! I think I bought this app for 99 cents. Hooray! Done With Hiatus And On With The Story

Today, while browsing the net for interesting things to read, I came across something super exciting. After around one year of waiting, I got to read the latest chapter of Hunter X Hunter :) yay! I just found out today but apparently, it was released on December 24th last year. Well, better late than never :) I had to re-read the whole chimera arc all over again to remember the story, but it was worth it. Hunter X Hunter is one of my all time favorite manga. For those of you who don't know what Hunter X Hunter is, it's basically a story of a boy named Gon who finds out the identity of his father Gin, the greatest Hunter in the world. In order to meet his father, Gon wants to follow his footsteps and become a Hunter. In the process, he meets his friends Kilua, Kurapika, and Leorio. Each of them have their own reasons for wanting to become a hunter... and the story continues.

Hunter X Hunter has had a lot of haituses (is that a word? :D) since it started. Reports say that the author, Yoshihiro Togashi had an "unspecified illness" and had to go on hiatus. Lots of rumors have been spreading regarding on why he had to take a break. Some say he's a lazy good for nothing bum, and some people say he needs some rest to get those creative juices flowing.
Well, as for me, I'm just glad he's up and writing again. Let's just hope that during his hiatus he did some brainstorming on how the story will be for Gon and his buddies, and how it's gonna be awesome.

The Beginning

First of all, I would like to introduce myself to the blogging world :) my name is Marie Gilline, and yes, I will be using a lot of smileys and punctuation marks whenever I blog --> ;D. I don't really have a set topic that I would be writing about, because I have a lot of interests. I like art, music, video games, fashion, food, and so much more :) (another smiley). I think of a blog as sort of a diary, only a more public one, where other people can see what you think and feel about certain things and occurrences in life. A blogger inspired me to start this blog and I hope I do the same to other people as well. Do join me as we all take a rip roaring journey called life :)
