I Need A Shy Guy

My room needed a pop of color and some art. Plus with the spare time I had, boredom really got to me. I was really impressed with the post-it art going around and wanted to do one of my favorite Mario Bros characters - Shy Guys! They're so cute, I just had to make em. Not all of it is post-its but construction paper because I had limited colors to work with, but it turned out well. I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed making it :)

Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right Errr...

Ahh... Old school video games. I just love reminiscing them in their 8 bit glory. I remember playing these classics with my cousins on Saturday afternoons. My all time favorites (or at least what I could remember)were Ice Climber, Super Mario Brothers, Contra, Chip and Dale, Twin Bee, Battle City, Circus Charlie, and so much more. Games today have great graphics (almost life like), you can play with other people online and "pwn" them, and you can even do yoga while playing the Wii. But old games have a certain charm that make me want to play them again and again.

I recently found this website NINTENDO 8 (yeah, yeah, I'm always the last to know haha) and it has old games like Wrecking Crew, Tetris, Mario, and all those old games that I loved to play. It made me smile and had me glued to my laptop for hours. It was just gaming bliss :)

I was always terrified of this  game (Bomberman), I don't know why though. It feels good to play it again and conquer oneof my (many) irrational fears hehe.

My New Buddy

OMG, I must be the worst blogger ever. I'm always not in the loop with things going on around me. Anyway, I woke up at 4 in the morning today and suddenly felt like looking for apps in my iphone. I don't know why... and so, while browsing for something interesting, I saw the funnest app ever! Talking Carl! :D yay!

Isn't he adorable? Oh such cuteness abounds :D What does he do you ask? Weeeell, stuff. He repeats what you say and says it in the cutest voice. Kinda like Gir from Invader Zim. Man I miss that show. (Sorry, my train of thought gets sidetracked easily). You can tickle him and he makes this hilarious laugh. You can also poke him and he will say ow or scream at you. But if you ignore him, he will have a fit. I've been playing with this app for hours, and I must say i'm not done yet, haha! I think I bought this app for 99 cents.
